This past Monday saw filming commence on Resident Evil: Retribution - the fifth entry in the popular Resident Evil movie franchise (and the third to be directed by British filmmaker and Mr. Milla Jovovich, Paul W.S. Anderson, after the 2002 original and last year's Resident Evil: Afterlife) - and with the video game Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City set to hit PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows later this year, it's looking like a pretty exciting time for Biohazard fans. So, what better time to launch our latest giveaway, where one of our readers will take home a copy of the CG-animated feature Resident Evil: Degeneration on DVD. Read on for a synopsis, trailer and details of how to enter this giveaway...
"A zombie attack brings chaos to Harvardville Airport. Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, who fought the sinister Umbrella Corporation during the Raccoon City tragedy 7 years ago, are back. In high-octane Resident Evil style, they're ready to battle a rogue warrior who is seeking revenge after his family was killed in Raccoon City. The deadly G-Virus is unleashed and a new mutated monster goes on the rampage. Will Claire and Leon be able to terminate the virus before history repeats itself?"

This film, is in the same universe as the Video games, because it is 7 years after Raccoon city and is between Re 4 and Re 5 (as well Damnation, will be). But the Live action films with, Alice (Milla Jovovich) in them are not Canon and not in the same universe as the Resident evil games and the CGI cartoon films. So people who played the games will know this and the films just have storylines, character loosely developed from the games, different time lines and different monsters. Also non game characters like K - Mart (who will be based on Ashley.) But that's why some of us fans, like a reboot with the games, repilicated into films, with the same lead heroine - as a same game character all the time, like Claire or Ada till, the end. Also with may be new characters in them. So it will be like Claire or Ada, in the games all the time, maybe then they'll be made into games with maybe different storys with her as the main characters. I dont like that Alice character any way, but we cant tell milla and her crew that.
