First cast photo for J.J. Abrams’ Revolution TV series

Entertainment Weekly has got their hands on the first cast photo for NBC’s new post-apocalyptic sci-fi television series Revolution, which has been created by J.J. Abrams (Lost, Star Trek) and Erik Kripke (Boogeyman, Supernatural) and is directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Cowboys & Aliens).

The series centres on a group of people struggling to survive and reunite with their loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously disappeared. Featuring in the cast are Billy Burke (Twilight), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Andrea Roth (Ringer), Tracy Spiridakos (Being Human), Graham Rogers (Struck by Lightning), Tim Guinee (Iron Man 2), David Lyons (ER), Maria Howell (The Blind Side), JD Pardo (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2), Zak Orth (The Other Guys) and Anna Lise Phillips (Animal Kingdom).

NBC has confirmed that it has picked Revolution up for a full season, which will air in North America later in the year.
