Fresh from screening at the Toronto International Film Festival, a new trailer has been released for Mike Newell’s (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) adaptation of the Charles Dickens’ classic Great Expectations, along with two clips from the film, which you can view below.
Produced by Elizabeth Karlsen and Stephen Woolley (Made in Dagenham, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, The Crying Game), the film has been adapted for the screen by David Nicholls and stars Helena Bonham Carter (The King’s Speech), Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows), Jeremy Irvine (War Horse), Holliday Grainger (Bel Ami), Robbie Coltrane (Brave), Jason Flemyng (X-Men: First Class), Sally Hawkins (Jane Eyre), David Walliams (Little Britain) and Ewen Bremner (Trainspotting).

Great Expectations will serve as the closing night film of the 56th BFI London Festival ahead of a UK release on November 30th.
