Here’s the umpteenth Django Unchained trailer

Despite still being some two months away from release, Django Unchained bagged writer-director Quentin Tarantino a Best Screenplay gong at the Hollywood Film Awards (a.k.a. “the official launch of awards season” – or “the completely pointless awards ceremony honouring films that might be good”), which seems as good an excuse as any for Sony to deliver yet another new trailer for the upcoming Western; check it out below… assuming you’re not completely burned out by all of these Django trailers just yet.

Django Unchained sees Jamie Foxx (Ray) as Django, a freed slave who teams up with Christoph Waltz’s (Inglourious Basterds) German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz to take down a group of outlaws, before taking on the evil plantation owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio; Inception) in order to rescue Django’s wife, Broomhilda (Kerry Washington; Fantastic Four). Also featuring in the cast are QT veterans Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction) and Kurt Russell (Death Proof), alongside the likes of Sacha Baron Cohen (The Dictator), Walton Goggins (The Shield), Don Johnson (Machete), James Remar (Dexter), James Russo (Public Enemies), M. C. Gainey (Lost), RZA (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), Tom Savini (Planet Terror) and Anthony LaPaglia (Without a Trace).

Django Unchained hits North America cinemas on Christmas Day and arrives in the UK on January 18th, 2013.
