Game of Thrones season 3 poster and first footage revealed

Game of Thrones fans... the wait is almost over. As the clock ticks down to the return of the epic fantasy series next month, HBO has announced that the first trailer for season three will debut tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (and presumably online shortly thereafter), and to get us in the mood the network has released a brand new poster via Entertainment Weekly, along with a short 12-second teaser giving us our first taste of footage from the hotly-anticipated third season.
