Game of Thrones season 3 trailer arrives online

After teasing fans with a 12-second sneak peek and a new poster yesterday, HBO has finally released the first trailer for the hugely-anticipated third season of Game of Thrones, which debuted last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and has now finally arrived online this morning for all to see.

Unlike the previous teasers featuring flying ravens and cast headshots, this one actually features some footage from the upcoming season, including shots of returning series regulars such as Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Richard Madden (Robb Stark), Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark), Kit Harrington (Jon Snow), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and Jack Gleeson (Joffrey Baratheon), in addition to newcomers such as Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane) and Ciaran Hinds (Mance Rayder).
