Star Wars: Episode VII plot details revealed?

June 11, 2013 by admin

Get those pinches of salt ready…

We reported on Sunday that J.J. Abrams would be kicking off filming of Star Wars: Episode VII early 2014 but refused to give any speculation on whether the plot would contain elements of the Expanded Universe. However, according to Schmoes Know, the basic plot of Episode VII has been leaked…

Storyline: Two 17 year old twins, a girl and a boy, are trained by their uncle Luke to be the greatest Jedi’s in the galaxy. Problems arise when the male twin turns to the dark side.

Jaina Solo – Female, 17 years old, lead. – Jacen’s twin sister, one of the greatest Jedi’s in the galaxy, trained by her uncle Luke Skywalker

Jacen Solo – Male, 17 years old, lead – Jaina’s twin brother, one of the greatest Jedi’s in the world. A loner who is constantly struggling with the idea of what’s right and what’s wrong. Starts to turn to the dark side. Full of conviction that what he is doing is the “right thing”. Will eventually become Darth Caedus.

Schmoes Know claim that this was sent by J.J. Abrams himself to the production company and was given to the site by their “reliable source”. This claim has been seemingly backed up by Latino Review who will be appearing on their podcast this Thursday.

Should this be true (and we do recommend you take this with a massive pinch of salt) it would appear that the new trilogy will be using the Expanded Universe as their starting point with Jaina fighting Jacen who falls into the Dark Side. No word on their younger brother Anakin being involved though…

Star Wars: Episode VII is scheduled for release in 2015 with the likes of Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (Han Solo) and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) expected to reprise their iconic roles from the Original Trilogy.
