With production on the fourth instalment of the Jurassic Park franchise set to get underway this winter, we’ve heard plenty of casting talk on Jurassic World these past few weeks, with Josh Brolin (Men in Black 3, Oldboy), Bryce Dallas Howard (Spider-Man 3, The Help), Ty Simpkins (Insidious, Iron Man 3) and Nick Robinson (The Kings of Summer, Melissa & Joey) all in talks with Universal about joining the dino-sequel.
Well, we can now potentially throw another name into the mix, with both Jurassic World Movie News and Acting Auditions reporting that Idris Elba (Pacific Rim, Thor: The Dark World) is locked in to appear in the hotly-anticipated 2015 release. Of course, that doesn’t make it official, and we should probably treat this as a rumour until we hear an official statement from Universal confirming the cast of the sequel.
Jurassic World is set for release on June 12th 2015 with Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) directing and Frank Marshall, Pat Crowley and Steven Spielberg executive producing.
