Josh Brolin already missed out on one big 2015 sequel, having been under consideration for the role of The Dark Knight in Batman vs. Superman before losing out to Ben Affleck, but it looks like he’s going to make up for it by taking a trip to Jurassic World, with reports emerging that the Men in Black 3 and Oldboy star is in early talks with Universal about boarding the latest Jurassic Park sequel.
Jurassic World is to be directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed), with Brolin joined in talks by Bryce Dallas Howard (Spider-Man 3, The Help), Ty Simpkins (Insidious, Iron Man 3) and Nick Robinson (The Kings of Summer, Melissa & Joey). The project is set to begin filming in Hawaii this winter, so expect to hear plenty of casting talk on the dino flick over the coming weeks.
Jurassic World is currently scheduled for release on June 12th, 2015.
