Will Smith certainly needs a career boost. His last film, the M. Night Shyamlan-directed After Earth, was a critical and box office failure and Men in Black 3, although surpassing $500 million at the box office, met with mixed reviews.
With his involvement in ID Forever – Part 1 in the air, Smith is now in talks to star in the Groundhog Day-inspired supernatural thriller Selling Time, which focuses on a “man who can relive the worst day of his life but in doing so knocking off seven years of his life.”
At one point, Will Smith had the star power to make or break a film and he is maybe the most charismatic actor working in Hollywood today. Hopefully Selling Time can halt the slide.
