Clearer picture of Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man 2

There has been a lot of talk over the last few days since the release of the new poster for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 which featured Rhino (Paul Giamatti), Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Green Goblin. And one of those topics has been which member of the Osborn family will be taking on the role of Spider-Man’s most famous adversary.

Chris Cooper (The Muppets) will be taking on the role of Norman Osborn while Dane DaHann (Chronicle) will be playing his son Harry. Thanks to @Tupacca via Twitter (which he sent to El Mayimbe of Latino Review), we now have a clearer image of Green Goblin, who is tucked away far at the back.

What do we think?

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy — between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away — but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set for release on April 18th 2014 in the UK and on May 1st 2014 in North America with a cast that also includes the returning Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) and Sally Field (Aunt May) alongside Colm Feore (Thor), Felicity Jones (Like Crazy), Sarah Gadon (Cosmopolis) and B.J. Novak (The Office) in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
