It was a big night for Paolo Sorrentino’s The Great Beauty on Saturday evening as the film took home four gongs at the 26th annual European Film Awards in Berlin – Best European Film, Best European Director (Paolo Sorrentino), Best European Actor (Toni Servillo) and Best European Editor (Cristiano Travaglioli). Veerle Baetens was named Best European Actress for The Broken Circle Breakdown, while there were also achievement awards for Pedro Almodóvar and Catherine Deneuve; check out the full list of winners here…
