New TV spot for The LEGO Movie features a glimpse of The Flash

For those that visit the site regularly, you will be aware that we are incredibly, almost unnaturally excited for Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s The LEGO Movie and today we have been given an incredibly brief look at DC superhero The Flash in the latest TV spot. As with the promos, it’s bright, over the top and damn entertaining; check it out after the official synopsis…

The LEGO Movie follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. Emmet (Chris Pratt) is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which he is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.”

The LEGO Movie opens in North America on February 7th and in the UK on February 14th with a voice cast that includes Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation, Guardians of the Galaxy), Will Ferrell (The Campaign, Anchorman: The Legend Continues), Morgan Freeman (The Dark Knight Rises, Oblivion), Liam Neeson (Battleship, Taken 2), Will Arnett (Arrested Development, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Elizabeth Banks (30 Rock, The Hunger Games), Nick Offerman (21 Jump Street, Parks and Recreation), Charlie Day (Monsters University, Pacific Rim) and Alison Brie (Community, Mad Men).
