Marvel Studios does post-credit sequences better than anyone (this maybe because they’re the only company to use them so frequently) and now we may have a little bit of news concerning the post-credits sequence(s) that will follow Thor: The Dark World.
Early feedback from screenings on the Thor sequel has suggested that “there are TWO credit sequences. One during, and one after.” Exactly what these entail we will find out later this month (in the UK, at least) but it has been hinted that the “mid – foreshadowing. End – shreddies.” I’m hoping for Ant-Man to make an appearance or maybe a subtle cameo by the Guardians of the Galaxy but whatever it is, I’m sure the audience will be stuck in their seat until the end of the credits.
Meanwhile, after yesterday’s wave of promotional material, Marvel Studios has now released a tonne of new images from the film featuring all of the main players, and giving us our first look at Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s pre-Kurse Algrim the Strong…
Thor: The Dark World opens in the UK on October 30th and in North America on November 8th, with a cast that includes Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Natalie Portman (Jane Foster), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Anthony Hopkins (Odin), Rene Russo (Frigga), Stellan Skarsgård (Erik Selvig), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Ray Stevenson, (Volstagg), Zachary Levi (Fandral), Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif), Tadanobu Asano (Hogun), Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis) and Christopher Eccleston (Malekith the Accursed).
