Warning: Potential minor Avengers: Age of Ultron spoilers to follow (so feel free to skip the text for some set photos)….
Cameras are currently rolling on Avengers: Age of Ultron at Norwich’s University of East Anglia campus, which has been converted into an Avengers “academy”, and a few set reports have begun to pop up online today, which suggest we might be getting a couple of unexpected appearances in the eagerly anticipated sequel.
According to CBM, principal cast members Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver) have all been spotted on set, along with Captain America: The Winter Soldier star Anthony Mackie (Falcon) and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actor B.J. Britt (Agent Triplett).
Mackie has previously suggested that he’d been left out of the cast for the Avengers sequel, while the potential inclusion of Agent Triplett will surely stoke rumours that Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) is set for a return to the big screen after his apparent “demise” in the 2012 blockbuster.
Along with the set reports, a few images have also surfaced, giving us a look at Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth…
