To add to the ever-growing list of Assassin’s Creed titles, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue has just been revealed via a leaked trailer. The game will launch on November 11th for PS3 and Xbox 360.
The trailer, which has since been removed, seems to put to rest the long speculation that the next Assassin’s Creed game for the seventh generation would be called Assassin’s Creed: Comet. The trailer was leaked via Access the Animus, a Facebook page dedicated to the franchise.
Assassin’s Creed: Rogue seems to follow what is becoming a trend for Assassin’s Creed by fusing land and sea-based gameplay. The immensely popular ships seem to make a return, and the game looks like it allows you to traverse large sections of the Atlantic, even including some Arctic exploration. Not only that, but it looks as though the main playable character may even be a Templar – the recurring series baddies.
DLC for the game also appears to have been revealed, showing off the “Ultimate Hunter Pack”, which affords you new weapons, ship sails and a wheel.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity, the next-gen exclusive Assassin’s Creed game, launches earlier than Rogue, on October 28th.
