We’ve seen a few brief teasers [see here and here], a behind-the-scenes featurette [see here], and even a music video [see here], but now we have our first real look at Vince Gilligan’s Better Call Saul with a trailer for the upcoming Breaking Bad spin-off, which you can check out below…
Set six years before Saul Goodman meets Walter White. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and, often, against Jimmy, is “fixer” Mike Ehrmantraut, a beloved character introduced in ‘Breaking Bad.’ The series will track Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts “criminal” in “Criminal lawyer.” The series’ tone is dramatic, wove with dark humor.
Better Call Saul will premiere on February 8th, with a cast that includes the returning Bob Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill / Saul Goodman and Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehremantraut and new additions Michael McKean (This Is Spinal Tap), Rhea Seehorn (Whitney), Patrick Fabvian (The Last Exorcism) and Michael Mando (Orphan Black).
Better Call Saul is set to premiere on AMC in February.
