The Moscone Centre in San Francisco will host the first ever convention dedicated to the game-streaming website, Twitch.tv. TwitchCon will be held this fall.
The convention will be dedicated to the streaming website’s community of “partners, broadcasters and viewers.” Some of the more popular Twitch broadcasters will host live content during the convention, while streamers and viewers will get a chance to hang out and chat.
Twitch CEO Emmett Shear said: “Twitch broadcasters have the most passionate fans, so we want to create an amazing experience where they can come together in person. TwitchCon will be an opportunity for the entire community – broadcasters, game developers, viewers, and us – to play and learn together.”
More details, such as schedules, will be announced in the future.
