Titan Comics have revealed their line-up for this years SDCC and it’s rather massive. Not only will they be debuting the new comic book series The Blacklist with an exclusive SDCC cover, but also the upcoming comic series, Heroes – based on the hotly anticipated new Heroes Reborn TV show – gets a special SDCC ashcan (more news on that here at Flickering Myth). You’ll also be able to pick up an exclusive SDCC Doctor Who short story edition, which will see both The Twelfth Doctor and Clara battle monsters at SDCC. On top of all of this there will be a full range of booth signings and epic panels!
Titan Comics will be taking you behind-the-scenes for their latest new major project, Assassin’s Creed! You’ll get the chance to see the global premiere of this artwork from the new Assassin’s Creed comics at the Titan Comics panel on Thursday, 2:30PM (Room: 4), plus be the first to find out about the launch storylines and the all-new Assassins!
This year’s SDCC sees Titan debut The Blacklist comic series two weeks ahead of release with a special SDCC themed cover featuring the formidable Raymond ‘Red’ Reddington, as played by James Spader! Plus, The Blacklist TV show writer Nicole Phillips will be attending the Titan Comics panel on Thursday to talk about writing the new The Blacklist comic series.
Fans of Heroes will be able to get a taste of the upcoming new comic series with a special SDCC ashcan, which comes with a cover by Eisner Award winning artist, Paul Pope! Heroes Reborn Supervising Producer Seamus Fahey will give fans a sneak peek at the new Heroes comic at Thursday’s Titan Comics panel.
Titan Comics panel also sees cult writer Roman Dirge give a ghostly glimpse at Lenore and his upcoming new projects! Writer/Artist Des Taylor takes you undercover of hit series Scarlett Couture! And Harvey award nominated writer Mark Wheatley discusses his new remastered edition of Breathtaker!
To celebrate Doctor Who both the main stars – Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman – will be attending this year’s SDCC and Titan are releasing an exclusive short story edition of the Twelfth Doctor comic. Set at SDCC, the Twelfth Doctor and Clara must battle an alien threat among the con-goers and cosplayers! Written by George Mann and Cavan Scott, and illustrated by Rachael Stott, this SDCC edition comes with two amazing covers from fan-favorite artist Alice X. Zhang!
Plus, look out for an exclusive SDCC Doctor Who triptych featuring the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctor ongoing Doctor Who series. This triptych forms a special image of the Doctor’s against a London skyline!
Titan is turning Saturday July 11 at SDCC into a special Doctor Who Comics Day – a teaser for next month’s official event on August 15. The day kicks-off with a special Ninth Doctor comic booth signing with writer Cavan Scott and artist Blair Shedd; Doctor Who – Four Doctors writer Paul Cornell will be signing a FREE art card from next months Doctor Who cross-over event – Doctor Who: Four Doctors!

Titan Comics will also be debuting their new comic series, Home – based on the hit DreamWorks movie! Writer Max Davison, artist Matt Hebb, colourist Tracy Bailey and inker Jason Worthington will be signing copies of issue #1 at the Titan booth on Sunday.
