Ice Age 5 titled Ice Age: Collision Course

August 9, 2015 by Gary Collinson

20th Century Fox has revealed the title for the fifth instalment in its and Blue Sky Studios’ CG-animated Ice Age series, with Deadline reporting that the film is going by the name Ice Age: Collision Course.

Accompanying the title reveal is news that the film has been pushed back a week to July 22nd 2016, which moves it out of the way of Sony’s Ghostbusters, which was brought forward a week to July 15th 2016 just a few days ago. It will now open against Guy Ritchie’s Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur.

Ice Age: Collision Course is directed by Mike Thurmeier and Galen T. Chu and features a voice cast that includes John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah, Keke Palmer, Ray Romano, Wanda Sykes and Jay Leno.
