Having gotten off to a fiery start following their debut on Raw last month, there are those who feel that WWE’s “Diva Revolution” has lost a lot of steam. There have been very vocal fans who claim WWE pushing their Diva’s division is nothing more than a PR stunt, due to them constantly branding the storyline rather than let it happen organically.
On the latest episode of Raw, the crowd at Brooklyn turned on a six-woman tag with Team P.C.B. and Team Bella and started to boo, do a Mexican Wave and chant “we are awesome”; similar to what the Raw-after-Mania crowd would do to a match they don’t care about to show their displeasure.
Among the many people unhappy about this was WWE Divas Paige and The Bellas, who took to social media to complain about being disrespected by the fans. Paige tweeted out, “You helped us create change and then did your best to disrespect. Niceeeee jobbbbbbbb!” She later deleted the tweet.
The Bellas took to Instagram to post the following images, one of which tells the New York crowd to “kiss my ass”.
Where’s my shorts?! Haha #TeamBella rises! Oh and WWE Brooklyn shame on you for disrespecting women that put their bodies on the line for your entertainment. As for the ones that supported us, THANK YOU! You make it worth working so hard and having this revolution! ???????????? #FearlessNikki #BellaArmy #TeamBella #BrieMode #FoxyBella #DivasRevolution
