With less than a fortnight to go until its release, a new trailer has arrived online for the crime thriller Cut Snake, which stars Sullivan Stapleton, Alex Russell and Jessica De Gouw. Take a look below after the official synopsis…
It’s the mid-1970s, and Sparra Farrell (Russell), a fiercely private young man, is trying to make a new life for himself in a new city, and to escape a violent past. He finds honest work and becomes engaged to a beautiful girl, Paula (De Gouw). When the brutal and charismatic Pommie (Stapleton) tracks him down, Sparra finds himself forced back into the world that he thought he left behind.
Pommie becomes the perfect houseguest and drops tantalising hints into Sparra’s history to Paula, who has no idea about her fiancé’s past. As Pommie drags him back into crime, Sparra realises that he’ll have to fight to keep the past from ruining his future.
Cut Snake is set for release on September 24th.
