Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made their final bow as Golden Globes’ hosts earlier this year, but fans of the Saturday Night Live alumni are being treated to another dose of the comedic duo this festive season.
Fey and Poehler are reuniting on the big screen in Sisters, a new comedy by Universal Pictures. As the title suggests, the pair play siblings – albeit estranged ones – who are asked to return to their childhood home to help clean up before their parents sell it. Nostalgia soon takes hold and the sisters decide to recapture their glory days by throwing one last party for their old friends.
In the first featurette for the film, Fey and Poehler talk about their well established chemistry and how adults need to let loose with a rager every so often.
Rounding up the cast are fellow SNL castmates Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon and Bobby Moynihan, as well as John Cena.
Sisters opens in the UK on December 12th and in the U.S. on December 18th.
