A few days ago, Geek.com posted a rumour concerning the possible identity of the main villain for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and now the site is back with another report, claiming that three new Guardians will be joining Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot in the Phase Three sequel.
The site claims that Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) are both set to join the crew of the Milano for the Guardians’ second adventure, along with the newly-introduced character of Mantis, who is heavily rumoured to be played by Pom Klementieff (Oldboy).
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled for release on April 28th 2017 in the UK and on May 5th in the States, with director James Gunn reuniting with returning cast members Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Vin Diesel (Groot), Karen Gillan (Nebulda), Michael Rooker (Yondu) and Sean Gunn (Kraglin) alongside new addition Pom Klementieff (Oldboy).
