It had been rumoured for some time, but Stone Cold Steve Austin has now confirmed that he will be at WrestleMania 32, which is emanating from his home state.
The Rattlesnake was the 100th guest of Jim Ross’ podcast The Ross Report, and he said that he will be attending the event. Austin has always said that he would come back to WWE if they had a good enough idea for him, and he’s said that he has a great idea for his apperance. However, he notes that he’s not discussed it with creative yet so it may not happen. He did add that even if creative don’t like his idea, he will be at the event regardless.
WWE are hoping that WrestleMania 32 will be the biggest show in their history, but have suffered a few blows of late with injuries to top stars like John Cena, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan and Sasha Banks.
Steve Austin was last seen at WrestleMania XXX where he did an in-ring segment with The Rock and Hulk Hogan. The Rock also confirmed that he will be at this year’s WrestleMania, but it’s unknown if he will do a match as it will depend on the contract he has with the Baywatch movie.
