This Sunday sees the UK’s biggest award ceremony, The BAFTA’s, take place at London’s prestigious Royal Opera House, hosted by Stephen Fry. And while the big awards are to be voted for by the Academy, you still have a chance to vote for the EE Rising Star Award!
The award celebrates the best young talent from across the acting world, and this year’s award sees a fantastic mix of young actors who have all had a hugely successful year. Up for the award are:
— Star Wars: The Force Awakens star John Boyega, who has just began filming Star Wars: Episode VII
— Golden Globe Winner Brie Larson, who stars in BAFTA and Oscar hopeful Room, as well as featuring in hit comedy Trainwreck
— Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson, who has two new films out in the next few weeks: How To Be Single and A Bigger Splash
— Taron Edgerton, who charmed audiences in Kingsman: The Secret Service and will soon be seen in Eddie The Eagle alongside Hugh Jackman
— and Bel Powley, who won acclaim for her lead role in indie sensation Diary of a Teenage Girl, and can next be seen opposite Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult in Equals
