WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW. OBVIOUSLY.
FOR THIS GUY HERE:
SERIOUSLY.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IN THE POST-CREDITS SEQUENCE.
WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO RUIN IT FOR YOURSELF?
IT’S A REALLY FUN MOVIE.
AND HERE YOU ARE SPOILING THE FINAL JOKE? THE LAST BIT OF FUN YOU’LL HAVE BEFORE DEADPOOL 2
AND THAT ISN’T EVEN CONFIRMED.
FINE.
YOUR DECISION.
We open on a hallway to an apartment. A door to the left opens, and out walks Deadpool. He’s wearing a fluffy, pastel-coloured dressing gown and his trademark red mask. He walks up to the camera and asks what we’re all still doing here, very much like Ferris Bueller at the end of Day Off.
Deadpool continues to rant at the still-seated cinema-goers. He asks what we were expecting? Samuel L. Jackson to turn up wearing an eye patch? Get real.
He walks back inside and closes the door. Cut to black.
As this was at a press screening, there was only one post-credits scene. According to Deadpool writer Rhett Reese on Twitter, a second post-credits scene will be attached to copies screened in cinemas on the movie’s full release later this week.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
