Bandai Namco have released a new trailer for One Piece: Burning Blood dubbed ‘Battle for Marineford’. Besides lots of in-game footage this trailer gives fans a closer look at the many different battle styles and game modes.
The trailer introduces the 3 versus 3 fighting action where players can utilise their entire team to execute ‘Unity Chain’ (which gives players the ability to use allies for added combo attack strength) and ‘Unity Assist’ attacks (used to break opponent’s combo attacks).
The various game modes introduced in the trailer include Free Mode which is a versus mode that gives players the opportunity to set their own battle variables, Online Mode which means some PvP action, the Paramount War Mode which allows players to experience the Marineford Arc One Piece storyline from different character perspectives and finally the Wanted Verses Mode which gives players the chance to collect bounties from challenges.
Burning Blood will also include over 60 support characters that although aren’t playable will be able to add various buffs to increase attack, defence or healing.
With players able to use combinations of Devil Fruit and Haki abilities to perform special attacks One Piece: Burning Blood looks to be setting sail for success.
