Things are moving within the halls of Retro-Computers.co.uk, the people behind the Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega+. You may recall back in February the hugely successful campaign of the ZX Spectrum Vega+ on Indiegogo – designed by Rick Dickinson – which raised a staggering £383,125, breaking its £100K required after three days! Well with all this rosy news it came as a surprising blow when it was reported over at RetroComputingNews.com, that both Managing Director Paul Andrews and Chief Technical Officer Chris Smith had left the company, resigning on the 8th April.
It had been said that Mr Andrews had sent an email to all those that had licensed games to the Vega, informing them he would no longer be managing the royalties and that responsibility would now be in the laps of Retro Computers Ltd. The remaining management of said company was now only Sir Clive Sinclair and Dr David Levy
However, just this morning it has been revealed that the management of Retro-Computers.co.uk has once again doubled in size when the below email was issued to all those who pledged money to the recent ZX Spectrum Vega+ campaign.
“Retro computers Limited are delighted to announce two outstanding additions to our company’s management team, with immediate effect: Dr Janko Mrsic-Flogel and Suzanne Martin. With the additional expertise and energy that these two will be bringing to the company, Retro Computers Ltd will be moving rapidly forward to put the Vega+ games console into production.”
So we have once again a full table and hopefully it’s not impacted too greatly on the release of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega+.
