As we gear up for WrestleMania weekend, there’s some new rumours surrounding the possible debut of Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson as WWE’s version of New Japan’s Bullet Club: Balor Club.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson is claiming that both Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows will be backstage at WrestleMania 32 this Sunday but possibly won’t appear. However the pair, along with current NXT Champion Finn Balor, will be at WWE TV tapings this week. Johnson had previously reported that Anderson and Gallows would bypass NXT and head straight to the Main Roster as soon as late March/early April. If that is the case, we should expect to to see them on TV screens as early as The Raw After WrestleMania.
Ever since it was announced WWE had signed Gallows and Anderson, it was speculated that they would join Balor as part of Balor Club, possibly with AJ Styles who is also a former Bullet Club member.
It will be worth keeping an eye on NXT Takeover: Dallas tonight, as Finn Balor defends his NXT Championship against Samoa Joe. Should Balor drop the belt, the rumours of him heading up to the Main Roster could be true. However, Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer has noted on several occasions that WWE are keen to keep Balor in NXT to be the ‘face of the brand’.
