The Phenom stars Hawke as an “ex-con father, whose tough love has turned into a head game for his major league pitcher son Hopper Gibson (Johnny Simmons). When the rookie is demoted to the minor leagues, he looks to an unorthodox sports therapist played by Paul Giamatti to set his head right. It’s there that Hopper learns his father is the root of all anxiety.”
The Phenom is set for release on June 24th in the States.
