Playstation 4 Call of Duty: Black Ops III fans will be rejoicing today as the third DLC pack, Descent, releases on their console after what seems like an eternity since Eclipse. To celebrate this release, Treyarch have released a new Descent multiplayer trailer and Gorod Krovi intro trailer, which you can watch below…
The Descent DLC will include 4 multiplayer maps and a continuation of the Origins saga. The new maps are:
- Empire – Black Ops II fan favourite map, Raid, gets redesigned to include Black Ops III unique movement system. This medium sized map takes place in an authentic Roman Villa recreated by a billionaire.
- Cryogen – This map is an isolated compound far off the coast of the Dead Sea where the world’s most dangerous criminals are frozen in isolation. This small circular map is ideal for wall running attacks.
- Rumble – Players will battle amongst giant robots in a robot wars-esque stadium. This is a medium sized map that funnels high speed combat into the central arena.
- Berserk – Ancient stone sentinels watch over the action in Berserk where players fight through a Viking village frozen in time. This medium sized map consists of rocky outcrops and tight chokepoints to take control of the central bridge.
Descent’s new zombies map, Gorod Krovi, continues the Origins storyline and takes players into an alternate reality version of Stalingrad where players must face swarms of mechanised zombie infantry and avoid attacks from flying dragons.
Descent is available to download now on Playstation 4 with Xbox One and PC releases due at a later date.
