After weeks of teasing and speculation – which has seen the returns of Teddy Long and Vicky Guerrero – we now officially have our General Managers for Raw and Smackdown following tonight’s draft.
It was revealed on last night’s RAW that “The Hardcore Legend” Mick Foley will be the new GM of Commissioner Stephanie McMahon’s Raw and former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan will be the GM of Shane McMahon’s Smackdown. It was also announced that Raw will feature the return of the cruiserweight division, following a successful start to the WWE Network exclusive Cruiserweight Classic tournament.

Tonight sees the redux of the WWE Draft, which is the first chapter of Smackdown going live every Tuesday. WWE.com revealed that – unlike the previous draft and what had been alluded to on TV – tag teams will not be split up and chosen as one pick. This puts to rest the rumours that WWE were thinking of splitting up Enzo & Cass and The New Day. It has also been revealed that six NXT stars will be called up tonight.
Are you happy to see Daniel Bryan and Mick Foley back on TV?
