Battlefield 1 Open Beta went live today for Battlefield Insider Members (if you’re not a member you should be) but tomorrow (31st August) it becomes open to all. To help you on your way there’s a short video below put together by Villordsutch which gives you a brief look at what to expect.
This latest release in the Battlefield series sees the action take the player back to where modern warfare began, back to World War I. With the developers basing Battlefield 1 around major historical events during this war, you’ll be making using of the weaponry available during the time-period, which includes bolt-action rifles, both auto & semi-automatic rifles, mustard gas, flamethrowers and sniper rifles; all of these you will be on either end of at some point be . Not only this when it comes to melee, the adrenaline really kicks in when you go for a bayonet charge, but you’ll also see more blunt force instruments depending on class and then we have the vehicles. You will be taking control of the heavy duty tanks and jeeps, but you’ll be charging into battle on the trusty steed in some instances, and then we have the air & sea combat vehicles which include biplanes, zeppelins and battleships.
Battlefield 1, from EA & DICE, is available to buy on the 21st October 2016 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
