Developer Creative Assembly have announced that more DLC will be coming to Total War: Warhammer this September. Following the highly successful Call of the Beastmen DLC, this first Lord Pack titled The Grim and the Grave introduces lots more units and heroes to the game. There is also a lovely trailer to accompany this DLC, which you can watch below…
The Grim and the Grave will introduce two legendary lords from the Warhammer Universe, The Empire’s Volkmar the Grim and the necromancer Helman Ghorst of the vampire counts. Along with these legends come expanded unit rosters; the Empire armies will be bolsted by an Arch Lector, the Knights of the Blazing Sun, the zealous Flagellants and versatile Free Company Militia whilst the Vampire Counts forces will be reinforced by the gruesome Corpse Cart, the dreaded Mortis Engine and the Strigoi Ghoul King. Both forces will also be able to access the new addition of 18 Regiments of Renown which are unique units with special traits and abilities. The new DLC will also introduce new quest chains, access to new magic items and skill trees.
Alongside The Grim and the Grave there will also be a free update released which will add a number of unique new battle maps and the most feared of vampire counts,Vlad Von Carstein. Vlad is an unrivaled practitioner of the Lore of Vampires which grants Vanguard Deployment to all units under his command.
Look out for The Grim and the Grave and the free content update coming to Steam on 1st September.
