After today’s news on the £20,000 donated to Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital you would have assumed that Retro Computers Limited would have been quiet for a day or two. Well that wasn’t to be and appearing on their Facebook and Twitter pages – this evening – is a video showing the ZX Vega+ in action.
It appears that somebody at the WIRED Event 2016 – at Tobacco Dock in London – has been lucky enough to get their hands on an actually working release. There are two active handsets on show and both screens look bright, especially if you watch the video on the Facebook post (linked above). We can also see an empty shell from the ZX Vega+ and the inner PCB with screen too.

Retro Computers Ltd. have said on their Facebook page, “Our Vega+ baby is alive, well, and most definitely kicking – listen to those beautiful noises, we at Retro Computers couldn’t be prouder ? “
As yet no official release date has been given, but with a launch party occurring just the other week and now these appearing at the WIRED Event they can’t be that far off.
