Creative Assembly and Sega have announced that a special edition of Total War: Warhammer subtitled Old World Edition will be coming to retail stores in February 2017. Total War: Warhammer – Old World Edition will include new content and also an exclusive novella titled ‘The Prince of Altdorf’ by Andy Hall.
The new content in Total War: Warhammer – Old World Edition will be the introduction of the feudal kingdom of Bretonnia. Unlike the Empire, Bretonnian armies contain a stark contrast of masses of peasants using the most basic of weapons and the proud knightly orders, looking resplendent upon their war horses with heraldry fluttering from their lances. There are very powerful Legendary Lords within the Bretonnians forces that players can choose from and these are the brave King Louen Leoncoeur, Alberic of Bordeleaux and the magical and mysterious Fay Enchantress.
Players who already own Total War: Warhammer will be able to update and be able to use Bretonnians for themselves on the date of retail release in February.
