Following on from the news regarding The 64 at the beginning of the week, in which we were privy to more technical specifications and also the bonus news of a free gift, today comes even more retro-machine news from the ZX Vega+ corner in the form of an updated release date.
You may recall back at the end of November that Retro Computers Ltd updated the backers, over on their main website, highlighting that “Necessary revisions” had to be made to the ZX Vega+. Which were, in that instance, related to modifications on buttons for the handheld device.
Within the latest update, which can be read in full here, the new release date for the ZX Vega+ is now slated for February 2017. Suzanne Martin (Managing Director of Retro Computers Ltd. ) said, “This change has caused a brief delay and we are truly sorry about that, but we needed this time to improve the product and we have now completed the necessary revisions and we are delighted to announce that we will ship the first units in February 2017.”
So now we have a set date and it will be nearly a year since the ZX Vega+ was launched on Indiegogo.
Are you looking forward to finally getting your hands on the device? Did you support the indiegogo campaign and if yes what most looking forward to with the ZX Vega+?
