Indie developer Ratloop Asia have announced today’s release of Rocketbirds 2: Evolution onto PC via Steam. Fans of the original chicken based action shooter, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, can now dip their beaks into more poultry action. In Rocketbirds 2: Evolution players once more take on the role of the “most interesting chicken in the world” as the Hardboiled Chicken becomes entangled in a mysterious and fowl plot (ok…no more chicken jokes) involving penguins. This section of the game is titled ‘Part 1: The Cockup’ and involves platforming action with puzzle elements. The game also includes a second part called ‘Part 2: The Rescue’ where the pint sized budgie commandos form a strike force to rescue hostages throughout a variety of generated missions and contains over 100 upgradeable weapons, costumes and characters to unlock. Part 2 also features multiplayer action for up to 4 players both in offline and online play and a PvP mini game.
Those who buy Rocketbirds 2: Evolution will also automatically unlock Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken in their Steam library.
Rocketbirds 2: Evolution is currently available on Steam with a special 10% discount until 2nd February.
