Dropping onto the Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega+ Indiegogo page early this morning was a blast of the 1980’s gaming goodness. Retro Computers Ltd. (RCL) are proudly showing off their upcoming ZX Vega+ handheld device – in the video below – which is expected to be shipped out to all backers come February 2017.
In the below video not only do we get to see a gaggle of ZX Vega+’s but we’re also shown a cluster of games from the past which include Chopper Mission, Egghead, Horace and the Spiders and Horace Goes Skiing.Egghead on show
Along with the swooping past of games and the numerous shots of the device we’re also shown for a brief moment the screens main menu, which includes:- Games List, Virtual Keyboard, Game Info, Settings and the final setting seems to read Switch Off; due to the upload not being in HD it wasn’t possible to make this out completely. The menu screen on the ZX Vega+
It’s great to see these classic games on show and hopefully in the next few weeks we’ll see more videos highlighting the devices capabilities, including the virtual keyboard, the list of games available and perhaps using a full-sized keyboard on the device.
