Rocket League – from Psyonix – as the World (if not the Universe) knows is rather massive! So much so it even has its own Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) in which players and teams, from around the globe, bring they pimped up four-wheeled, super-machine to do battle for an amazing amount of cash and of course the glory. In March 2017 Season 3 kicks off and two big changes are coming.
If you want to register for RLCS Season 3 then you can get your name down on the 9th February here, and players will be signing up to compete for the biggest prize pool yet! The total amount of prize money being given out will be $300,000 and competitive play will begin on the 4th-5th March 2017, with the Kickoff Weekend.
The two big changes coming this season are:-
- First, the Oceanic Region is being added into the competition, allowing players from Australia, New Zealand and more, to have a chance to compete in the World Championship. Registration for Oceania will begin a bit later than NA and EU, with additional details on this region’s competition to be announced in the next few weeks.
- Second, an RLCS weekly talk show launches in mid-March, to cover all things Rocket League esports. Details including day and time for the show will be announced in the next few weeks.
