Today, THQ Nordic have announced a console release date of 22nd March for their police strategy adventure, This is the Police. This is the Police has been available to buy for PC via Steam since August 2016 and has received extremely favourable reviews. Hopefully, this same level of success will greet the game on Xbox One and Playstation 4.
In This is the Police players take on the role of Police Chief Jack Boyd who has just 180 days of service left until retirement and wants an easy life once he has. As Jack Boyd players must make $500,000 in his remaining 180 days but the means of which to achieve that goal is up to the player. Find the bad guys and choose how you deal with them whilst at the same time carrying out your duties as Chief of Police and dealing with the cities corrupt mayor.
The game holds a very dark storyline that sees your character faced with difficult decisions of carrying out justice or making extra money towards your goal, whatever you decide will ultimately influence the game and your character’s fate.
This is the Police will be available on the 22nd March as a digital download or physical copy on Xbox One and Playstation 4.
