The team over at The64 are known for letting the backers know practically all updates, even news that most people would shy away from telling the people that are supporting their project. It appears they want to put all cards on the table not matter if they are positive or negative and in the latest update on their Indiegogo page, we start with a negative and end a couple of positives.
The first part – of the latest update – informs us that one of The64 team members has been out the preferred manufacturing plant in Asia, as The64 team are currently behind schedule. They are currently attempting to rectify this looking into costs and quality, hence the physical visit has been carried out. We’re expecting more news on the visit to Asia soon.
With the negative news passed the positive news, of the update, turns to discussing games for The64. With 300+ games optioned for the device the team recently met with games rights owners at GDC – in the USA – and they’re now set to sign off some new games. The decision has been made that there will be no filler games on the system on high-quality titles.
Finally, the last piece of The64 update is showing off two CAD images. As you’ll recall the last update revealed some CAD images, here we can see an image of the full-sized keyboard.
