Bugs in games are not nice to experience and looking through the forums the console version of 7 Days to Die has more than its fair share of bugs. That said, the developers do keep releasing updates to correct these bugs so 10 points to them. However, the recent patch 9 (Version 184.108.40.206 on Xbox One and Version 1.12 on Playstation 4) released earlier this month caused a 2 or 3 bugs to rear their ugly heads. Fortunately, the developers are on the ball and have released a hotfix which is available now.
This new update, Patch 9.1 (Version 220.127.116.11 on Xbox One and Version 1.13 on Playstation 4) has the following bug fixes:
- Fixed the source of new MD5 errors introduced in Patch 9
- Removed “trial version” text from bottom right corner of the screen
- Fixed issue causing the texture of the bird’s nest to revert to the old version
I for one am glad of the fix for the MD5 errors. Two bases completely resetting to their original appearance after x amount of hours play is more than anyone can stand so well done to the developers.
