After a successful run on the Playstation VR, PC owners can now enjoy an immersive experience in Gotham City as Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the release of Batman: Arkham VR for those with HTC Vive and Oculus Rift equipment. Watch the new launch trailer below…
In Batman: Arkham VR players will become Batman, they will see through his eyes and utilise the gadgets that have made the Dark Knight the legendary crime fighter that he is. Thinking like Batman is necessary if you are to solve the Arkham mystery that threatens the lives of those closest to the man behind the bat.
“Bringing Batman to VR was a very rewarding experience for us here at Rocksteady. The Dark Knight has always been an incredible character to work with due to his psychological depth, so it’s really exciting to use this immersive medium to delve deeper into his psyche than ever before” said Sefton Hill, Creative Director at Rocksteady Studios.
Batman: Arkham VR will support HTC Vive and Oculus Rift controllers and will include full support for Xbox One, PS4 Dual Shock 4 and Steam Controllers.
Batman: Arkham VR is available now for PC gamers with HTC Vive and OCulus Rift.
