Larry Hryb has today announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops II joins the long list of backwards compatible games on the Xbox One. Call of Duty: Black Ops II is the most requested game for the backwards compatibility feature having gained over 200,000 votes on the Xbox leaderboard. This is, of course, great news for fans who see Black Ops II as the pinnacle of Call of Duty games.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II joins over 350 other backwards compatible Xbox 360 titles and as usual, those who own the game already can install and play on the Xbox One at no extra cost. However, those who haven’t got the game can take advantage of Microsoft’s Xbox Spring Sale 2017, where Call of Duty fans can purchase the game for £24.49 or £20.99 if they are a Gold subscriber.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II joins an impressive list of backwards compatible titles that includes the Mass Effect series, GTA IV and the LEGO collection of games. Click here for the full list of available titles.
