BadLand Games have announced that their 2D fantasy platformer Illusoria will be released on Steam for Windows PC on the 30th May. Created by indie developer Under the Bridge and inspired the 90’s classic titles Flashback and Heart of Darkness, Illusoria takes players to a fantasy world filled with monsters and secrets. In Illusoria players are taken to the Kingdom of Illusoria and placed in the role of the Keeper of the Flame. As the Keeper, players must set out on a quest to protect the Empress and save the Kingdom of Illusoria from the curse of the evil Puppet Master. Only by gaining the power of the Guardian will players be able to stop the Puppet Master and his diabolical plan to turn all of Illusoria‘s creatures into dangerous monsters o he can rule the world.
Players will need to venture through 12 action packed levels taking on the numerous monsters and traps that block your path. Magic such as fireballs can be used to attack and a fiery shield can be used to defend while traps can be avoided by mastering your skills in running, crouching, rolling, climbing and jumping.
Illusoria will be available on Steam on the 30th May.
