System 3 have released the last two videos in their ‘Undesirables Guide’ for the upcoming remake of the 1997 humorous strategy game, Constructor. The series of videos has so far introduced us to the Hippy, the Gangster, Mr Fixit, the Thief and Thugs and the Ghost. The final two undesirables, the Killer Clowns and the Psychos, can be seen in the new videos below…
The Undesirables Guide series of videos has introduces us to the people that our opponents won’t want in their neighbourhood so being the underhanded construction magnate and landlord that we are we can build their ‘residences’ and allow them to cause chaos on our opponents estates. Hopefully they won’t do the same to us.
The last two videos in the series introduce us to Killer Clowns and Psychos:
- Killer Clowns are the bane of suburbia and no resident will like a would-be Pennywise hanging around. By building their House of Fun you can gain access to several useful options. For those having their properties haunted send in the Killer Clown. Nobody knows what he does but the ghosts don’t hang about. Clowns can also be used to distract guard dogs while you send other characters to do their nefarious deeds. The House of Fun is also useful if you want to get rid of an opponents character, send them an invite and they will come running. Finally, the Killer Clown is able to brew his own molotovs and partake in his hobby of arson.
- Build the Biker Bar to gain access to the chainsaw wielding Psycho. Gaining the services of the Psycho will allow players to scare off workers on an opponents building site by sending him on a rampage there. While your Psycho is going crazy no building work will be done. This is ideal for holding up their construction efforts. The Psycho is also able to destroy opponents fences allowing buildings to be taken over much quicker. Just make sure you have a Foreman on standby to take over the property before your opponent sends a repair crew. Last but not least, your resident Psycho can also use his chainsaw to destroy an opponents building.
Despite the ferocity of this grade A nutjob he is slow and can easily be taken down if attacked by several enemies at once.
It’s always worth remembering that these undesirables can just as easily be used against you so make sure you know how to deal with them.
Constructor is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and will be released this summer for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC with the Nintendo Switch version expected to arrive shortly afterwards.
