At Bethesda Softworks E3 2017 showcase a brand new expansion was announced for their strategy card game The Elder Scrolls: Legends. This new expansion titled Heroes of Skyrim introduces lots of new content and will be available on the 29th June. The game, developed by Dire Wolf Digital will also be making its way to mobile devices which is sure to be a popular move for those wanting a dose of Elder Scrolls while on the go. Watch the new trailer below…
The Heroes of Skyrim expansion will include over 150 brand new cards and feature Shouts, familiar characters and a whole host of different dragons. Some of our favourite characters from Skyrim such as Aela the Huntress and J’Zargo and the dragons of legend like Alduin and Paarthurnax will make an appearance.
The biggest change with this latest expansion is the introduction of the Shouts game mechanic. As in Skyrim, Shouts have three different levels but in The Elder Scrolls: Legends these Shouts power up the more times you use them so the first time used you gain level 1, second time you gain level 2 and so on.
As well as the above, Bethesda have also stated:
The Companions are represented by a spin on the Change ability introduced in The Fall of the Dark Brotherhood. Companions will change into their Beast Form when you break a rune. Beast Forms are often more powerful, and bringing the beast out can even trigger abilities.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends is about to get a lot more… dragon-y. During Bethesda’s E3 2017 Showcase, the Heroes of Skyrim expansion was announced. This brand-new set of over 150 cards will include new mechanics like Shouts, familiar characters, and, of course, dragons… lots of dragons. Heroes of Skyrim will be available on June 29 on all platforms.
