With over 32 Million players across numerous platforms including PS4, PC and Xbox One, Rocket League – from Psyonix – is already one of the biggest games currently circling the globe. It’s so massive it even has its own eSports World Championship League and Rocket League trading! Well now the player base is set to grow even more as Nintendo have announced that the high-octane game that mashes up battling cars and football is coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Not only will the game come with the same features, upgrades and content that millions of players worldwide have across numerous platforms, but Nintendo Switch owners will be getting exclusive content including Battle-Cars and Customisation items that include a Mario and Luigi hat toppers.
Rocket League will support all of the various play modes on Nintendo Switch, including TV mode, Tabletop mode, Handheld mode, both Online and Local Multiplayer, and be available for 1-8 players. It will also launch with Cross-Network support for players to compete against opponents on other available platforms.
You can expect to see Rocket League arrive on the Nintendo Switch later in 2017, also expect more details to follow as the release date becomes available.
